There is an old saying that says "Legends never die".....well there is certainly a lot of truth in Megaman case. For a long part of my gamers days I was a huge fan of Megaman and Megaman X (my favorite series of Rockman), but after I think Megaman X6 I stopped playing or follow the games, so you may not believe that I not was aware of the situation of Megaman and Capcom until maybe a few months ago when my best friend :iconseonidas: who is a bigger Megaman fan than me explain me the whole thing and I start watching rants on youtube of Megaman fans....so I couldn't get to know when the campaign in Kick Started of Mighty no.9 was on about the amazing project of Kenji Inafune to continue the Megaman style of action platform games with a "Spiritual successor" Called "Beck".....I may not couldn't contribute with the Kickstarted of the game, BUT you bet your ass I gonna buy this game, I saw all gameplays and looks freaking amazing I can't wait for that, a truly cool side-scroller  game that we haven't see one like...damn millenniums for me at least.

I'm still sad that we may never see the Blue Bomber in his full glory again for the stupid denial of Capcom to not do anything with the character and cancelling a good portion of great sequels that could be done for the franchise (AND maybe safe their ASSES of the mess they are now) like Megaman Legends 3, Online, Universe, Maverick Hunters and more (plus all the slap in the face to fans with the "Megaman Box art cover" in Street Fighter x Tekken or the DLC skin of X for Zero in Marvel vs Capcom 3).....but maybe there is hope, now with the current Capcom situation selling a good portion of their games that could lead to a company who cares about the character regain the former glory of one of the most notable characters in Video Game history and continue producing games... I only hope that could be Nintendo, just saying maybe is not a "coincidence" that Megaman is part of Super Smash Bros Wii U, only time will tell, in the mean time..........Mighty no.9.....MY BODY IS READY XD!! I hope you folks like my little tribute to my favorites Megaman incarnations XD.

Megaman and Megaman X are © by Capcom / Mighty no.9 is © by Comcept and Kenji Inafune.

While I love Mega Man X, Mighty no. 9 is loaded with controversy and deception.  I strongly urge people to not buy Mighty no.9.

If you want to be an ignorant fool then that is YOUR FAILING since some people are actually competent (unlike you).  Ignorant sheep like you are the worst of the videogame industry.
And by the way, learn English, dude.  Your grammar is even worse than your ignorance.  :P

What controversy and deception are you speaking of?  The Megaman games that Capcom were working on were abruptly cancelled with hardly any explanation with no plans to continue them or make new ones, as well as firing Keiji Inafune, the man who made the Megaman series what it is today, because of a statement that Japanese game developers were falling behind western game designers.

I’m guessing you never watched the Dina Disaster on YouTube, huh?  Dina basically treated investors like trash when they called her out on her shenanigans.
Keji Inafune was also aware of what was going on and added her actions.  And for the record Inafune did not create Mega Man.  He admitted that Mega Man was already created by the time he joined the project at Capcom.  Now, when it comes to Capcom they are obviously run by jerks.  If you have a problem with Capcom then change this rancid financial system so you can buy the company and get the games you so desperately want.  :P

I am aware that Inafune did not create megaman.  I said he made it what it is today.  And no, I did not see the Dina Disaster video and tried watching it, too much sarcasm not enough facts, dug up an article on Nichegamer.com. This Dina was the community manager,  nothing more than a PR person.  A lot of her claims that she was part of the art team was just a load of bullshit.  Yes she was liar and a bitch, and more than likely took the job to try a steer the project the way she wanted it.  But Dina is no longer with Comcept, resigned or let go, or shot out of a cannon take your pick.  And this was months ago.  So why all the salt.  Judge the game by the way it plays and the fun you have with it.

The FACT of the matter is that Inafune is embroiled in controversy.  He also proved that Kickstarter is a Raw Deal.  Napoleon Bonaparte once said: “The hand that gives is above the hand that takes.”, yet investors were treated like scum and had absolutely no power.
Since Inafune is a nasty individual I strongly encourage people to not support him.  I also saw the completed game and it looks generic and boring.  A hand drawn animation style like the one depicted in the promotional artwork would have been better.

Embroiled in controversy?  Nasty Individual?  Your speaking like you know Inafune personally.  But again, I would like to know why your hating on Mighty no 9 and Inafune.  I mean the guy just wants to make games but keeps hitting brick walls, like at Capcom and this kickstarter.  I've read some of your other comments to other artists on this site and you seem like a genuinely nice guy.  But this one seems to have set you off.

It's a sad siutuation that these companies are letting their lead IPs drift. SEGA isn't doing any better; Sonic Boom looks plain distorted. But your fan art is amazing and inspiring!

If anyone deserves to claim the Blue Bomber, it's the Big N. The NES put Capcom on the map.

Very nice piece of art.

Just a bit of clarification. When Street Fighter x Tekken was being made, and Bad Box Art Mega Man was being put in, there were still Mega Man games in development, and Inafune was still a part of Capcom. It was just a bad coincidence that those games got cancelled and he left at the SAME time that BBA Mega Man got put into SFxT. It was supposed to be a good-natured joke, but ended up seeming like a slap in the face to fans.

I agree with you completely, I think Nintendo would do Mega Man justice. They take their times releasing games, but they make sure they are high-quality before they do.
